This tutorial is to teach you how to install a theme
manually on your iPhone via iFile as the theme has not been submitted to Cydia
or not up on any repo yet.
What do you need:
Jailbroken iPhone
Cydia
Winterboard
iFile
Firstly, go to Cydia and install Winterboard and
iFile if you have not.
Step 1. Go to a download link on safari. Let the page load, and wait for ‘Open in iFile’ to appear on the top right corner. The downloaded file will be transfered to the ‘Documents’ folder in iFile.
Step 2. Themes and widgets downloaded from external sources come in zip/rar format, hence, need to be extracted first. when we choose the “open in ifile’ option in Safari and are directed to ifile, we select the ‘Unarcheiver’ option. This extracts the files.
Step 3. Now, we choose the ‘edit’ option on the top right corner, select the file and choose the copy option from the icon in the bottom.

Step 4. Once our file is selected, we head over to var/stash/_Eo…/Themes and paste the selected file there using the same icon in the bottom after pressing ‘edit’ on the top. If we’re dealing with a lockhtml/groovylock/iwidget/sbhtml widget file, then they have to be pasted into their respective folders found in the directory var/mobile/library/..
And you’re good to go!
Similar to this process, deb files can be installed from external sources as well. After choosing the ‘open in ifile’ option in safari, select ‘installer’ instead of unarcheiver. after installation is complete, respring your device and the tweak will be installed! And this is how we manually install themes using ifile!
OK, it's done. Now you
can install your custom iPhone themes with Winterboard.
